Dear Friends,

We would like to THANK the Lodi Police Department and the animal community for their help and generous donations after the recent break-in at our Sanctuary. We are using your donations to replace doors and a cabinet and we will be able to purchase a new digital camera and replace the stolen money. The fact that our animals were not harmed was our primary concern. It is wonderful that there are caring and compassionate people reaching out to help our animal friends in this time of need.

AFCHS needs Volunteers to help on fundraising committees, work in our office, or become a foster home for our cats/dogs. We also need exercise Dog Walkers to walk dogs seven days a week mornings or late afternoons or cat lovers to socialize, cuddle and brush cats. PLEASE if you can spare 1 ½ to 2 hours one, or more days a week to make the life of a dog or cat easier while waiting for a loving family to adopt them. Stop by and pick up our volunteer application @ 933 S. Cherokee Lane, Lodi between 1 and 7 PM, Monday – Friday.

	Jog a Dog 2008 on May 4th. New Therapy-dog date posted. Check it out under Educational Program. Looking for a pet to adopt? Come to our mobile adoption. Multiple locations : Stockton @ Petco, Petsmart or Lodi @ Discount Pet Food. You can also come to our Cat adoption room in Lodi. Please call 209-365-0535 to confirm all adoption dates & times.
