Kai

Adopted

Kai

Kai is a handsome little 2 and a half year old Shih Tzu boy. He weighs 10.5 pounds. He is very loving, a real sweetheart and a very good dog. If you look up “lapdog” in a dictionary, we expect you might see a picture of Kai! He loves everybody, men, women, and older children. He is great with foster’s 9 year old grandchild. He really just wants be with his people. He is a good fit for someone who is home to spend time with him as he does have separation anxiety and doesn’t want to be left alone. He is a little on the needy side but is so worth all of the love he will shower on you in return. He is house-trained, uses the doggy door, and will use potty pads if need be. The only times he has an accident is if he is left home alone. He loves to play fetch, but doesn’t quite release the prize toy but turns into a game of tug of war in Kai’s version of fetch. He walks well on leash, rides well in the car as long as he is being held, and he is good with other dogs. He is gentle, affectionate, very quiet, and just a sweet little guy who needs a forever home. He is current on his vaccinations, dewormed, Frontlined, neutered and microchipped. Kai will be an awesome devoted companion.

Princess

Princess

Princess and Cassie are adorable 3 year old Terrier/Chihuahua siblings; their family is unable to care for them any longer. One weighs 12 pounds and the other weighs 15 pounds. The girls are current on their vaccinations and are spayed and microchipped. They are house-trained and are used to using a doggie door. The girls are shy so will need a calmer environment. They both know the commands "Sit," "Stay," "Down" and "Come." They are gentle and affectionate and Princess is more of the lap dog and does warm up sooner than her sister Cassie. They are both well-mannered and are playful. They ride well in the car and walk on leash. The girls are very bonded to each other so would prefer them adopted together. Professional photography compliments of Gluskins on the Miracle Mile in Stockton, CA.

Ramseyi

Ramsey

Ramsey is such an adorable 3 and a half year old, 12 to 14 pound Dachshund/Min-Pin mix; he is neutered, current on his vaccinations and has been de-wormed and microchipped. He is such a sweet boy and is a playful dog, has a really good personality. He is house-trained and is a housedog. Ramsey used to enjoy being held and cuddled but we think someone dropped him and now he is nervous about being picked up or held. He gets along great with other dogs and should have a canine playmate. He is fine with cats. He rides well in the car, enjoys going bye, bye and absolutely loves going for daily walks (well, he used to love walks but something happened during a brief adoption and he has been afraid ever since). He is a great little dog and will need to be in a home with calm adults; he is nervous when around younger kids. Ramsey is a dog that you will need to visit with a few times before taking him home; he will be a challenge but is so worth it. It’s a great feeling to save a needy shelter dog and turn them into wonderful companions. He really is a great little dog.
