Ginger
Ginger is a delightful nearly five month old ½ Dachshund with Lab and Border collie. She currently weighs about 20 pounds. She has had all her vaccinations is spayed, de-wormed and micro-chipped. Ginger is a social, loving, happy and healthy puppy and will make a great companion for your family. She is playful and will chase balls. She gets along great with other dogs and is ok with cats. Ginger also loves to go on walks. She gives kisses, likes to snuggle and enjoys being held.

Jack
Jack is a handsome dapple Dachshund with some Min-Pen; he is 1 year and 5 months old. Jack is current on his vaccinations has been neutered and micro-chipped. He weighs 8 pounds and is a house trained house dog. The toddler in the home was diagnosed with severe allergies so they cant have pets and Jack is now living with AFCHS at the sanctuary. Jack knows how to sit and come and is playful, loving, affectionate, gentle and well-mannered. He is shy in the beginning but warms up quickly. Jack is a good watch dog, he is very good with children and is leash trained he also likes riding in the car and enjoys going for walks. He gets along well with other dogs small and large and is good with cats.

Buddy
Buddy is a very sweet and intelligent 2-3 year old Pit Bull mix with a sunny disposition. He was found wandering the streets, lonely and extremely hungry and with bite wounds around his head, neck and legs. He was not treated well with his previous owner but despite his treatment, he is happy, outgoing and eager to please. Buddy is current on his vaccinations and will be neutered and micro-chipped before going to a new home, he weighs 50 pounds. He loves to walk on a leash and is good in the car. Buddy is extremely affectionate and loves to be petted. He is house trained and has never had a potty accident in his rescuers home. They take him out to potty every three hours or so and he holds it all night. His rescue family says he is a wonderful dog and knows basic obedience, sit, stay, down and come and is quick to learn new commands. He thinks he is a lap dog so would do well with some obedience training, he also chases cats. Buddy is has a calm nature and is gentle, loving, energetic, active and yet well-mannered. He crawls on his belly and is good with children and other dogs and will make a great family dog.

Georgie
Georgie is a handsome looking nearly 8 month old Chihuahua/Italian grey hound mix; he is so sweet, playful and is an affectionate little guy. He is current on his vaccinations and has been neutered and micro-chipped. Georgie is good with other dogs and cats and is a loving happy puppy, he is on the shy side in new situations. He currently weighs about 12 pounds and is trained to use the doggie door to go outside and potty. He loves to sleep in bed with his family and would be best suited for a family with another playful small dog, older kids would also be best since he is a little shy. He would enjoy a family that would take him for walks.

Sophie
Sophie is a beautiful young Pit Bull about 1.5 years old; she is looking for her forever home. She has had a rough start in life but is doing great in her foster home... Sophie has been spayed and her vaccinations are current. She is also micro-chipped. She is house trained and must be an indoor dog, she uses a doggy door. She is small weighing only (30lbs). Sophie rides well in the car, loves to go for walks and is good with kids, she lives with a 7 year old and is great with him. Sophie would do best in a house hold that is active, she needs daily exercise. Sophie would be fine as an only dog but with the right match she would love to have a playmate her size or bigger. Her foster family has an older small dog and a Doberman that is a show dog and is Sophie is great with them. Sophie is a kitty lover and let ' s her foster moms cat walk all over her. She will make someone a great family dog!
