BooBoo

BooBoo

BooBoo is a pretty 3 year old Poodle weighing in at 7.4 pounds; she and her daughter Princess were given up by their family; they didn’t have a home of their own. She is current on her vaccinations and is scheduled to be spayed. She has also been de-wormed, Frontlined and microchipped. BooBoo loves her carrots; she is starting to collect toys but has not yet played with them, although we feel that is soon coming. She is working on her house-training and using potty pads. She dances back and forth when she wants you to pick her up. She seems to be fine with cats. Good on leash and enjoys her walks. She also rides well in the car. BooBoo loves to give kisses and will jump onto your lap. She will go off on her own but will come and check on you to make sure you are still there; she easily attaches to her person. Good with other dogs but has not started playing. She is watching what is going on and will most likely join in at some point. She is an adorable little girl; no young kids due to her size. She will be a wonderful companion.

Paddington

Paddington

Paddington (Paddy) is a handsome approximately 3 to 4 year old Poodle mix weighing 10.8 pounds. He is mostly fur! Paddy is current on his vaccinations, neutered, microchipped, Frontlined and de-wormed. He loves his toys and shakes them back and forth. He also loves to be held. Paddy is so affectionate, staff says he is cute and very cuddly; he likes to snuggle and he loves his Chewies and carrots. Paddy is very good with other dogs and is not a barker. He was abandoned with his female Dachshund companion and his son Shaggy. He rides well in the car and does okay on leash although he sometimes refuses to walk. He seems to be house-trained but will need reinforcement. He loves people, his son Shaggy is bonded to dad but dad isn’t and says it is time to spread your wings. When he sees his person he hops up and down and is excited to see you and will smoother you in kisses. He will need regular professional grooming and could use one now. We feel a more mature home but one that is also active as he loves to play. Paddy will be a wonderful companion that enjoys a cuddly, laid back dog.

Cheri

Cheri

Cheri is a beautiful Pekingese mix; She is about 4 to 6 years old, spayed, will be current on her vaccinations and microchipped prior to adoption. Cheri weighs about 7 pounds. This precious little dog was rescued at a mall, dirty, matted and dragging her leash. No one claimed her. She is very affectionate, prefers to be in a one-pet home or she would need to be fed separately. Cheri prefers to be inside and seems crate-trained since she goes into a cat carrier with no problem and sleeps in a carrier with the door propped open. However if you like your dog in bed with you I'm sure that Cheri will accommodate you. Cheri would love a family that will dote on her, she likes men, women and older kids (we prefer no small/young kids). She will bark if someone knocks on the front door or comes into the house and she can't see who it is so will be a great little alert dog. She is house-trained and will go potty outside. Cheri walks on a leash well; likes walking and rides well in the car. She wants to sit on your lap or on the couch and be petted. Easy to bathe. Needs a gentle person/home who won't yell at her or make fast movements or run at her like children may. If you have cats that move around the house at night she will bark at them. When she gets scared, she will pee just a little bit. Cheri will be a great little companion dog.

Charlie
Adopted

Charlie

Charlie the Dream Dog: obedience trained by Sycamore Kennels in Lodi, he is smart, affectionate, loving, playful, athletic, and a loyal companion. Charlie is the perfect big dog for a family that’s looking for that special addition. He is a mix most likely of American Bulldog with Labrador and/or Boxer. He is just over a year old, weighs 65 pounds with a heart as big as he is. He loves all people and children, is house-trained, loves walks and car rides and is getting all As on his obedience training. He likes other dogs, but does not do well around alpha dogs or cats so he should be in a one animal household. A true miracle, he was found running the streets with a cord imbedded in his neck and just skin and bones but still never a cross word has come from him. This wonderful dog is ready and anxiously waiting for the family that will love him as much as he will love them. Charlie is neutered, microchipped and vaccinated.
