Roxy

Roxy

Roxy is a beautiful Shepherd, possibly mixed with Husky or Malamute. She has a sweet temperament and loves people. Not sure how she is around other dogs and cats, as we haven't seen her in that situation. She is about 1 year old, is being spayed January 18, her shots are current and she will be microchipped. She walks okay on a leash, but she does need some training. She will jump up if excited. She seems to learn fairly quickly and is young and trainable. She is alert and healthy. She was house-trained also, but is in a kennel situation currently.

Daisy Mae

Adopted

Daisy Mae

Daisy Mae is a very pretty 5 to 6 year old Bassett Hound. She was found abandoned by an overpass in the country some time ago and no one has been looking for her. She was severely malnourished and had a flea infestation as well as eczema. Daisy Mae also had tumors on her abdomen and on her hip, they were removed when we had her spayed and are all benign. She is current on all her vaccinations, microchipped, de-wormed and Frontlined. Her coat is improving with medications and special baths. Daisy may be best as a only dog as she gets protective of her foster mom. She has some guarding issues with food so would need to be fed separated, probably due to her starving. She is affectionate and very bonded with her caregiver although is affectionate with other adults in the home. When a male technician came to the home she was guarding her foster mom we don't know if it was because it was a stranger in the house or because it was a guy. She lives with two female 'moms'with no men around. When on walks outside she does great meeting new people both male and female. She didn't know what toys were or how to play, but that has gradually changed. She now loves a fluffy squeaky toy and will play fetch. Good with cats that are dog savvy - she will chase only if they run. Foster mom's two rescue cats are dog lovers and she is good around them. Also walks well on leash and harness. Has lots of energy to burn on her nightly walks. Daisy Mae would benefit from obedience classes and will be an awesome companion. Faith

Faith is a pretty 1 year old Chihuahua/Dachshund mix. She weighs 16.2 pounds, is current on her vaccinations, Frontlined and de-wormed. She will be microchipped prior to going to her forever family. Faith is gentle, affectionate and well-mannered. She is house-trained and sleeps in the house. She is a good little watch dog, is a little on the protective side and she is also a loving lap dog. Faith likes both men and women and is a little protective of her rescuer. She doesn't like being left alone without another dog. She will be a great little companion. Zildjian

Zildjian

Zildjian is a handsome Pit Bull Terrier; he is around 2 years old, maybe a little less. He is current on his vaccinations and has been neutered; he will also be microchipped. He is house-trained but is kept outside most of the time. Zildjian would love to be inside the house with his family. He knows the commands "Sit," "Down" and "Come." He is a wonderful dog but does have food aggression. He likes children but doesn’t do well with cats; we don’t know about other dogs. He rides well in the car and walks on leash. An active home would be great for Zildjian. Professional photography compliments of Gluskins photo on the Miracle Mile in Stockton.

Charlie

Charlie

Charlie the Dream Dog: obedience trained by Sycamore Kennels in Lodi, he is smart, affectionate, loving, playful, athletic, and a loyal companion. Charlie is the perfect big dog for a family that’s looking for that special addition. He is a mix most likely of American Bulldog with Labrador and/or Boxer. He is just over a year old, weighs 65 pounds with a heart as big as he is. He loves all people and children, is house-trained, loves walks and car rides and is getting all As on his obedience training. He likes other dogs, but does not do well around alpha dogs or cats so he should be in a one animal household. A true miracle, he was found running the streets with a cord imbedded in his neck and just skin and bones but still never a cross word has come from him. This wonderful dog is ready and anxiously waiting for the family that will love him as much as he will love them. Charlie is neutered, microchipped and vaccinated.

Margie

Margie

Margie is an adorable possible Dachshund mix. She is 1 and a half years old and 12 pounds. Margie is in charge of the dogs in the house. She is not mean but she reminds her rescuer of Judge Judy! She is taller than the others and that makes her the queen. She loves her treats! She is housebroken and uses a doggie door. She and her foster sisters chase and chase and chase each other then they crash in a heap and sleep together! She is spayed, and will be current on her vaccinations and microchipped. Margie will be a wonderful companion.
