Adoption Questionnaire

Joy who is now being called Sparky is a darling approximately 12 year old Chihuahua mix who recently lost her family. The department of aging contacted our organization when one of her owners went to the hospital and the other was taken to a nursing home. She is healthy, current on her vaccinations, spayed and will soon have a complete dental. She is a housetrained house dog. She is loving, affectionate, playful and is a great little lap dog. She gets along with other dogs and likes to sleep in her own little bed. She can be vocal when she wants to let you know that she wants something. She is a sweet and mature lady that needs a loving home to live out the rest of her life.

Office

Roxy is a pretty 1 ½ year old Bull Terrier mix; she was rescued with a huge wound in her neck and severe mange. She is well on her way to recovery, thanks to her wonderful rescue family. Roxy is a sweet and loving dog in spite of what she has been through. She is gentle, affectionate and on the shy side. She seems fine with other dogs and we think she is ok with cats. She is currently sleeping in her rescue families garage. Her wounds have healed and her hair is starting to grow back. She is looking for a forever home.

Office

Heidi is an adorable and loving 8-10 year old -Dachshund-Spaniel mix, she is spayed, and her vaccinations are current. Don't let the grey fool you she is fairly active and will even play with my younger dogs...She came to us in terrible condition so we took her to our vet where the doctor gave us drops for dry eye and antibiotic's for her teeth. Her teeth have been cleaned and many of them were pulled.  Heidi is able to eat her dry and canned food mixed just fine and has a very good appetite. You have to speak loud as she doesn’t hear well; we had to remove a tumor from in her ear. She is a house trained house dog and uses a doggie door; she will only be adopted as an inside dog with outside potty. She gets along with cats and is great other dogs; she gives kisses, is sweet, affectionate and enjoys being on a lap, she will make a wonderful companion. Heidi loves to go for car rides and go on walks she walks well on leash.

Office dog

Boomer is a handsome 9 month old tri colored Australian shepherd mix with beautiful eyes, he is neutered and current on his vaccinations. He needs a home with a family that will spend the time and energy training and playing with him. He is a really sweet dog that responds well to training and correction. Boomer is a normal active puppy with normal puppy behavior. He would do well as a house dog that is spending time inside the house with his family and sleeping inside the house. He is loving and friendly and is great with kids and fine with cats.
