Sophie

Sophie is a beautiful Pit Bull about 1.5 years old. She was terribly neglected but has gained weight and is looking great. She will make someone a great dog! Sophie has been spayed and her vaccinations are current. She is also micro-chipped. She is a huge dog stuck in a tiny package (30lbs). Sophie rides well in the car, loves to go for walks and is good with kids, but would do best with older kids(over 12). She needs to be an only dog (but would be okay with an other dog, with an experienced owner). She is house trained and must be an indoor dog, she uses a doggy door.

Penny and Boogie

(Note Penny only is now adopted, Boogie is still available). Penny a 9 year old black and tan Min Pin and Boogie an 8 year old red and tan Min Pin and their family have lost their home. They are spayed and neutered and current on their vaccinations and will be micro-chipped. They are house trained and used to using a doggie door, sleep in bed with their humans and will also sleep in their own bed. They will do best in a quiet older home as they will take food away from younger kids and younger kids have stepped on them. Penny and Boogie like car rides and enjoy going on walks. They are gentle, affectionate, and well-mannered. They can also be nervous at first. They get along with other dogs and are fine with cats.

Abby

Abby is an adorable 2 year old Chihuahua mix with cute freckles on her nose; (Mama to the 5 puppies) she is current on her vaccinations, scheduled to be spayed and has been micro-chipped. She wont be ready to go until mid to later January. Abby is house trained and is a wonderful house dog. She is a very sweet and loving little dog weighing about 10 pounds. She gets along with other dogs and likes to play with the cats she will make a great companion. She loves to play with toys and wrestle around with the other dogs. Abby rides well in the car.

Casey

Casey is a darling 7 year old shepherd mix; she is spayed current on her vaccinations and will be micro-chipped. She is slightly overweight weighing about 40 pounds. She is a house trained house dog and sleeps in the house. Her family lost their home to foreclosure and they are no longer able to keep her. She is basic obedience trained and is a mild, non Alpha dog. The Chihuahua ’s in the home boss her around. She is gentle, affectionate, well-mannered and so loving. She is afraid of fireworks. Casey is good with children, other dogs and cats. She enjoys going for walks and riding in the car. Casey is a great family pet.

Chula

Chula is a beautiful 7-9 month old Pit Bull with gorgeous light green eyes; she is spayed, current on her vaccinations and has been micro-chipped. Chula’s family lost their home and moved leaving her behind in the back yard. Thanks to a wonderful neighbor who heard her crying and rescued her. Chula is house trained and used to using a doggie door she sleeps in a crate at night. She knows basic obedience and gets along with other dogs. She needs to be fed separately from the other dogs as she is possessive of her food. Chula is gentle, affectionate and well-mannered. She is slightly shy and nervous in new situations. She is leash trained, loves belly rubs and likes riding in the car.
