Jake

Jake is a blue merle Queensland, a neutered male, 7 years old. He is very frisky and playful and loves to herd a basketball in the yard or park, and he also likes to fetch. He grew up around little girls and loves to play with children, he may need to be told to stay down a few times but then he learns fast. He loves to go camping and riding in a truck or RV but needs a restraint in the back of a pick up. He is so gentle and loving, and he loves to lay his head in your lap and will fall asleep that way if you pet him gently. Loves to be told he is handsome and puts his ears back. We play "catch me if you can" and he will run in circles or all over the yard as fast as he can and then past you. Great and very smart fella. He is very visual and if you say Helicopter he will look up to the sky. He likes to be where he can see out to the world, like on a bench in front of the window for him to sit a watch the neighborhood. He likes wearing a scarf when he goes places. The groomers always love him. He gets along with other dogs well and will be submissive to make peace. He is the smartest dog ever! He is house broken and would bust his gut before urinating or pooping in the house or RV. He has traveled the states with us. He is a good watchdog also. His family has to give him up , reluctantly, due to very ill health.

Cocoa

Cocoa appears to be a sheltie/chow mix. She has a gorgeous sable coat, and she has a grooming appointment set up. She is a spayed female, 6 years old and she gets along fine with other dogs. She is very friendly, a real sweetie, and very good-natured. She has mostly been kept outside, but appears to be housebroken. She doesn't jump up on people, and is not a digger or chewer. She is well-behaved. She only barks when someone approaches. A dog house and all misc. pet items will go with her--her person has lost their house and needs to move to an apartment.

Klaus

Klaus is a handsome 3-4 year old Black and Tan Dachshund. He is neutered, current on his vaccinations, de-wormed and has been micro-chipped. We believe that he was abandoned in a foreclosed house. He has some bald spots from a lack of a good diet but other then that is in good health, his fur is already filling back in. Klaus gets along with other dogs most of the time, he gets over excited if the play is too frantic and then he gets to rough. He needs a home without cats. He is playful and when let outside to play thinks chasing his tail is great fun. He seems to be house trained and is a house dog. He crawls all the way under his blankets for his naps or bedtime. He’s a little guy so sometimes we don’t see him and think he maybe got outside, wrong, he’s always under the blanket snoozing. Enjoys going on long daily walks and rides well in the car, he also likes his carrots. His ideal home is without children, he is a sweet dog for a calmer, loving home. We almost named him Shadow as he follows you everywhere. He’s a great little dog but should not get over stimulated.

He is neutered and current on his vaccinations and will also be micro-chipped. He loves attention and loves to play and run. He likes to rest his head in your lap and take naps. Squeaky toys are his favorite. He is currently trained for doggy pads because his owner cant take him outside.. Loves to go BYE BYE. His current family bathes him in the kitchen sink but he has gone to the groomers. Max is a little on the pudgy side and should loose a little weight.

Clancy

Clancy was due to be put down at a local shelter. He was a middle-aged dog, a victim of neglect: painful matted hair, ears infected, ticks, kennel cough, ..but inspite of all this, he came to the gate wagging his tail, and licked people's hands. Don't ask to adopt Clancy unless you are ready to rescue a dog in need. He will take a soft touch, and a gentle slow environment. Clancy is sensitive and would be best in a home with adults. He is good with all the dogs he is with-- large and small. He is housetrained and crate-trained. Clancy appears to be a Sheltie-Pekinese mix, and he has a rich double coat with fawn sable coloring and golden highlights. He is neutered, he weighs about 23 pounds and is approximately 6 years in age.

Cocca

Coco

Coco is a beautiful 1- 1/2 to 2 year old Pomeranian / Chihuahua mix (Pomchi); She is spayed, current on her vaccinations and has been micro-chipped. She is an inside dog with outside privileges and is housetrained to a doggie door. Coco is sleeping in her own bed but would rather sleep with her family under the blankets. She is very sweet but a little on the shy side with strangers when first meeting. Coco is a door bolter so will need a home with a family that uses great care when opening the door. As with most dogs she should have her own food bowl and be fed separately as she is protective of other dogs trying to eat out of her bowl. She is fine with her human family around the food. Coco is on the feisty side so would do best with a calm male dog if there is another dog in the family. (She is not aggressive) She would also do best in a calm adult home and won’t do well with young children. Coco would love someone home with her most of the day and she will make a great lap dog.
