Darla
I LOVE HAVING MY GORGEOUS COAT BRUSHED AND ENJOY THE ATTENTION.
My name is Darla and I'm a small “Maine Coon”--all the
attributes and no pedigree! As for why I'm special, well, just look!
I'm gorgeous. I must be brushed thoroughly at least once a day--any
less than that would be an affront to the Universe, a woeful lack
of appreciation of Nature's beauty. It's a rewarding activity; the
volunteers say they’ve almost combed enough fluff off of me
to knit a medium-sized kitten. I’d love my very own family.
Darla was born around May 2006, has been spayed, and her vaccinations
and rabies shots are current. Darla combo-tested negative for Leukemia
and FIV. She has been wormed, treated with Advantage for fleas, and
is an inside-only cat. You may visit Darla at our adoption center.

Patch
I THINK I’M KIND OF UNIQUE COME ON BY SO I CAN SHOW
YOU I’M SURE WE’D FALL IN LOVE.
This little thief of hearts stole mine the moment he hopped onto my
lap, stretched up and kissed my nose, then, with a humming purr, promptly
curled up in my lap and went to sleep. That's all it took for me to
fall in love. Patch gives joy to everyone with his generous affections
and most amusing antics. Who could resist this sweet boy? Patch would
prefer to be an only child. He likes to corner all the attention.
He was born around August 2006, has been neutered, and his vaccinations
and rabies shots are current. Patch combo-tested negative for Leukemia
and FIV. He has been wormed, treated with Advantage for fleas, and
is an inside-only cat. You may visit Patch at our adoption center.

Kyoko
I’M A LIVING PIECE OF ART AND WOULD LOOK BEAUTIFUL
LOUNGING ON YOUR FURNITURE.
I hope you think I am a beautiful Siamese Snowshoe with gorgeous blue
eyes. I really am a social girl with some obvious stipulations; but
I really need to be loved and wanted and need the safety of a loving
home. I like to be in control and play aggressively, but I am not
mean. I don’t show my affection readily, but I do have my loving
moments. Little children and I would not mix well as I really prefer
a mature home with loving adults. Kyoko was born around August 2006,
has been spayed, and her vaccinations and rabies shots are current.
Kyoko combo-tested negative for Leukemia and FIV. She has been wormed,
treated with Advantage for fleas, and is an inside-only cat. You may
visit Kyoko at our adoption center. Please call (209) 365-0535 for

Kiwi
I’m gorgeous, you won’t find another cat like me, so
you can stop your search with me.
I am beautiful on the inside too. I am a loving, sweet kitty, a little
on the quiet side. I am sociable as a cat that has been well loved.
I am very calm and relaxed and should do well in most any home, with
or without children or other pets. Do you have a place in your home
and heart for me? Kiwi was born around May 2004, has been spayed,
and her vaccinations and rabies shots are current. Kiwi combo-tested
negative for Leukemia and FIV. She has been wormed, treated with Advantage
for fleas, and is an inside-only cat. You may visit Kiwi at our adoption

Rapper
WONT YOU GIVE A SERVICE WOMANS PETS A NEW HOME, SHE DIDN’T
WANT TO LEAVE US.
Rapper and Raven desperately new a new home. Their former guardian
was deployed to Iraq and was devastated to surrender them. They
are grieving for her and are not doing well at AFC. I look grumpy
but I’m really not. It would be wonderful if they could be
adopted together by a quiet, understanding family who would allow
them time to come out of their shells. They are already trained
in the basics and will be tremendously grateful to be given a second
chance to be loved once again in a new home. They were born around
May 2005, have been neutered, and their vaccinations and rabies
shots will be current before adoption. They combo-tested negative
for Leukemia and FIV. They have been wormed, treated with Advantage
for fleas, and are inside-only cats. You may visit Rapper and Raven
at our adoption center. Please call (209) 365-0535 for more information.
