Jessy

I’LL SIT ON YOUR LAP FOREVER IF YOU HAVE A BRUSH IN YOUR HAND. I SO LOVE TO LOOK PRETTY.
As you can see, Jessy is a beautiful Tortie who was born in February 2003. When she sees you approach her, she calls out to you to come closer so she can show you how much she loves the human touch. She has been very intimidated living with a bunch of other kitty roommates. She is dreaming of finding a permanent home with calm, loving people who will love her unconditionally. She craves human attention, will know that you rescued her, and will love you for it for the rest of her life. Jessy has been spayed and her vaccinations and rabies shots are current. She combo-tested negative for leukemia and FIV. She has been wormed, treated with Advantage for fleas, and is an inside-only cat. You may visit Jessy at our adoption center. Please call (209) 365-0535 for more information.

Sabrina

I LIKE A GOOD BOOK THAT’S WHEN I REALLY GET INTO PURRING
I’m called a text book tuxedo but I’m not like all the others I’m special. If you like purring you’ll love me. If it’s a small space--a basket, cardboard box, paper bag, or cubby--you’re apt to find Sabrina in there. Slipping away to her fortress for a nap or a bit of quiet is a big part of cat wisdom. She purrs so loudly, letting us know how much she welcomes our touch, and she is so gentle and sweet. Sabrina is perfect for someone who likes to be around his/her cats most of the time (she will most likely always want to be in the same room as you). She was born around June 2004, has been spayed, and her vaccinations and rabies shots are current. Sabrina combo-tested negative for Leukemia and FIV. She has been wormed, treated with Advantage for fleas, and is an inside-only cat. You may visit Sabrina at our adoption center. Please call (209) 365-0535 for more information.

Katrina

AND NO I WASN’T NAMED AFTER THE HURRICANE. I’M A VERY SWEET GIRL.
Hi, my name is Katrina and I’m a Maine Coon mix with beautiful green eyes. Sometimes my human friends think I can be a bit "sassy", but I'm just misunderstood. What can I say, I'm a girl…I like things my way; but you'll love me for my boldness of character and straightforward attitude. The number one reason why I am so special is because if you adopt me, we will make each other feel loved, no matter what, and I will make your house feel like a true home. Katrina was born around January 2004, has been spayed, and her vaccinations and rabies shots are current. She combo-tested negative for Leukemia and FIV. She has been wormed, treated with Advantage for fleas, and is an inside-only cat. You may visit Katrina at our adoption center. Please call (209) 365-0535 for more information.

Velvet

I’M A GORGEOUS INDEPENDENT LADY OR SHOULD I SAY PRINCESS.
Beautiful Velvet defines the word “independent”. She wants everything on her terms like the Princess she is. Although that’s a normal attitude for Calico’s. Velvet was declawed by her previous guardian before coming to AFC. She is quiet, not shy but not outgoing; she will seek you out when she wants to be loved on. Velvet likes occasional petting and brushing. She prefers to perch high and watch the proceedings rather than participate. Very low maintenance. Prefers to be an only cat and is not real cuddly at the sanctuary but we believe that would change in a home. She will tolerate occasional hugs if the other cats stay away. Velvets previous owner said she likes to sleep on the bed beside you (never on you). She ignores dogs. Likes girls. Her guardian went into a nursing home leaving Velvet homeless. Velvet was born around May 2000, has been spayed, and her vaccinations and rabies shots are current. Velvet combo-tested negative for Leukemia and FIV. She has been wormed, treated with Advantage for fleas, and is an inside-only cat. You may visit Velvet at our adoption center. Please call (209) 365-0535 for more information
