Mittens
Mittens, Mittens, oh where are my Mittens? In this case -- she's
right here with us waiting for her new forever home! Mittens is quite
the little vivacious but also loving girl. She has extra toes on both
front feet and is quite proud of that! She thinks she's pretty special
and she will let you know that! (And she is!) She is very energetic
and playful. She gets along well with mild mannered cats, but would
do well as an only cat with enough people attention. (DOB: 5/04) Mittens
is up to date with routine shots, house trained, altered, felv/fiv
negative and is an inside only cat.

Sushi
Ooooooo, ahhhhh...oh boy, am I cute. I would love
to join in any game you can think up--or I’m more than willing
to think up a game of my own. I am the perfect cat for someone who
wants to be entertained and likes interactive playtime, ‘cause
my best toys are the ones that have humans attached to them. I also
enjoy quiet times with those who love me and allow me to snuggle in
their arms or curl up next to them in bed. I’ll be watching
for you to come through the door to see how special I am. Sushi born
around October 2003, has been neutered, and his vaccinations and rabies
shots are current. Sushi combo-tested negative for Leukemia and FIV.
He has been wormed, treated with Advantage for fleas, and is an inside-only
cat. You may visit Sushi at our adoption center. Please call (209)

Maksim
Maksim (white male) and his sister Laila (black female) were front
declawed by their previous guardian and, unbelievably, abandoned in
a rental. They are both very sweet and friendly purebred Persians,
and Laila seems to be a little bossy with Maksim. Persians tend to
be serene and laid-back. They are definitely beautiful cats, but their
coats require a good bit of maintenance. Persians are commonly described
as being quiet, dignified, and not too vocal. If these traits sound
good to you, please visit them at our adoption center. They were born
around April 2000, have been spayed and neutered, and tested and vaccinated.
They have been wormed, treated with Advantage for fleas, and are inside-only
cats. Please call (209) 365-0535 for more information.

Cinnamon
Cinnamon is a fabulous young cat. She’s energetic, affectionate,
inquisitive, and fun. She loves to climb anything and everything (ladders,

for hours. Cinnamon loves to sit and purr next to us too and must
always have one paw in contact with our leg or arm. She was born around

Frederick
Let me tell you about this cutie.. He is just so sweet and loving,
he loves to be petted and to climb into your lap. He would probably
hog the bed if you let him! Just look at those blue eyes of his! He
would make an excellent family cat, he just loves attention and he's
sooo loving and docile.. Frederick has been neutered and tested for
FELV/FIV. He just needs his booster shots and he is just ready to
go out and find his new forever home. Could that be you? I'm not sure
how Frederick would do around dogs..

Winston
Winston and his Brother Wesley were dropped off at
AFC after hours and were terrified. We have been working with them
and Wesley has improved dramatically. However, while Winston is improving,
he is still unable to relax enough to let us pet him or even let a
tiny purr sneak out. He needs a special home with a patient family
with no children who will allow him to gain confidence at his own
pace as Wesley has done. His family would need to understand that
he might hide for a while when he is scared and allow him to do so.
If you have ever lived with a shy cat before, you know how rewarding
each day's progress is. Winston was born around August 2005, has been
neutered, and vaccinations and rabies shots are current. He combo-tested
negative for Leukemia and FIV. He has been wormed, treated with Advantage
for fleas, and is an inside-only cat. You may visit Winston at our

Wesley
My AFC humans tell me they are very proud of me for
all the progress I have made. I’m still a bit shy so you’ll
have to be patient with me, but I’m worth it, I promise! I found
out that being petted feels really good, and I’ll walk up to
you if you extend your hand to me (even if you don’t have some
chicken to share!). I am a very curious cat and have to know everything
that is going on. I love all my cousins here and like to play with
them. Can you come and meet me and see if you’d like me to be
part of your family and help me to progress further? Wesley was born
around August 2005, has been neutered, and his vaccinations and rabies
shots are current. Wesley combo-tested negative for Leukemia and FIV.
He has been wormed, treated with Advantage for fleas, and is an inside-only

Pearl
Now I spend my days in the sanctuary, hoping someone will notice
me and give me back the home that I lost. I'm kind of shy, so I get
overlooked. I'm not as outgoing as some of the youngsters and reserve
my affection for my special persons. I would love a lap that I can
keep warm. I am quiet and will not tear up your furniture or drapes
as some of the kids do. I know the finer points of cathood as I am
a very cultured Pearl. She was born around July 2001, has been spayed,
and her vaccinations and rabies shots are current. Pearl combo-tested
negative for Leukemia and FIV. She has been wormed, treated with Advantage
for fleas, and is an inside-only cat. You may visit Pearl at our adoption
