Sofia
SOPHIA MEANS WISE IN GREEK AND I AM WISE BEYOND MY YEARS.
I’m only 5-years-old. I’m in my prime...still playful, but mature enough not to be climbing your curtains or potted plants. Do you have a spot in your home for me? I think laps are cool and I love to have my ears scratched. I am quiet, gentle, a little on the shy side, and would love to be in a home with a loving family again. Sofia was born around June 2003, has been spayed, and her vaccinations and rabies shots are current. She combo-tested negative for Leukemia and FIV. She has been wormed, treated with Advantage for fleas, and is an inside-only cat. You may visit Sofia at our adoption center. Please call (209) 365-0535 for more information.

Sabrina
I LIKE A GOOD BOOK THAT’S WHEN I REALLY GET INTO PURRING
I’m called a text book tuxedo but I’m not like all the
others I’m special. If you like purring you’ll love me.
If it’s a small space--a basket, cardboard box, paper bag, or
cubby--you’re apt to find Sabrina in there. Slipping away to
her fortress for a nap or a bit of quiet is a big part of cat wisdom.
She purrs so loudly, letting us know how much she welcomes our touch,
and she is so gentle and sweet. Sabrina is perfect for someone who
likes to be around his/her cats most of the time (she will most likely
always want to be in the same room as you). She was born around June
2004, has been spayed, and her vaccinations and rabies shots are current.
Sabrina combo-tested negative for Leukemia and FIV. She has been wormed,
treated with Advantage for fleas, and is an inside-only cat. You may
visit Sabrina at our adoption center. Please call (209) 365-0535 for
more information.

Buttons
"BUTTON, BUTTON, WHO HAS THE BUTTON?"LETS
PLAY.
Cute as a button and an itty-bitty bundle of love, this pretty short-haired
Dilute Calico was born around July 2003. Buttons is very smart--she
can play chess and the piano. Well maybe not, but I think that she
still is pretty special and you will too. So if you have a warm lap
and some love to share, please consider making her a loving part of
your family. This purr-happy kitty will love you forever! I’ve
been here such a long time. They take good care of me but I’d
really like my own family. If you are interested in Buttons, please
come to the adoption center to meet her, or call (209) 365-0535 for
more information and to see if she is still available. Buttons has
been spayed, and her vaccinations and rabies shots are current. She
combo-tested negative for Leukemia and FIV. She has been wormed, treated
with Advantage for fleas, and is an inside-only cat.

Martha
IF YOU STOP AND GET TO KNOW ME I’M
SURE YOU’LL WANT TO TAKE ME HOME
Martha is a grey DSH Tabby who has an "M" on her forehead
because she is a Marvelous, Meek, Mellow, Merry, Modest, Miss! She
really, really likes to talk too, because she likes humans and is
trying to tell them something. On those lonely days when there is
no one to talk to, she will fill the void. I’ve become pleasingly
plump while waiting for my family but that just gives you more of
me to love. Why don't you visit the Sanctuary and have a conversation
with her? Martha was born in June 2004 and has been spayed, vaccinations/rabies
are current, combo tested for Leukemia and FIV and is negative, wormed
and advantaged. She is an indoor only cat. Please call our office
at 209-365-0535.

Emma
Emma is a very sweet senior cat who would love a chance to live her last good years with her own family. Although she and her sister Sara have been together all of their lives, they are not extremely bonded and would be great in a one cat house. She is a pure-bred Main Coon, but is of the smaller variety. She gets along well with other mild mannered cats and possibly mellow dogs.
Emma is up to date with routine shots, house trained, altered, felv/fiv negative and is an inside only cat. (DOB: 09/1995) Emma can be visited at Petco or PetSmart. To set up a visit or learn more about Emma, please email. You can see our adoptable cats at Petco or PetSmart in Stockton on the week-ends, or daily at our cat sanctuary in Lodi.

Candy
I COULD LIVEN UP YOUR HOME IN A GOOD WAY!
Candy’s a dandy! She is a pretty very sweet and cuddly little
girl who loves to play. She goes crazy over the bouncy balls; and
when one is thrown, she departs from her usually very composed demeanor
and becomes a flying hairball with a mission. Candy is cute, charming,
and entertaining. She will make a wonderful addition to most any family.
She was born around October 2006, has been spayed, and her vaccinations
and rabies shots are current. Candy combo-tested negative for Leukemia
and FIV. She has been wormed, treated with Advantage for fleas, and

Zsa Zsa
I’M AS BEAUTIFUL AND INTRIQUING AS MY NAME SAKE …
Zsa-Zsa has an intriguing coat known as Tortoiseshell, or Tortie for
short. She's bright and frisky and was born in December 2003. She
has a sweet temperament, good attitude, and loves lots of attention.
She is very relaxed and would be content with a home she could call
her own. After she is comfortable in her new home, she will love being
held and will make a good lap cat. Zsa Zsa likes people unless they
get too loud. She used to come out to greet people but she has gotten
used to being overlooked which is rather surprising given her beauty.
Vaccinations/rabies are current, combo tested for Leukemia and FIV
and is negative, wormed and Advantaged. She is an indoor only cat.
You can visit Zsa-Zsa at our cat Sanctuary. Please call our office
at 209-365-0535.

Charlie
Charlie is extremely loving and affectionate. He is
eager to please his person. He was rescued at 8 weeks of age. Almost
blind and totally terrified Charlie's future was not certain. Thanks
to the patience and love of his foster families, Charlie thrived and
grew to love and trust his people companions, and is healed emotionally
from his early childhood trauma. Part of Charlie’s miracle is
that he can see and is a healthy and strong boy, weighing in at over
12 pounds! The eye infection, however, caused permanent damage to his
tear ducts, and left him with ‘weepy’ eyes. He grows stronger
and healthier every day and will continue to when he is blessed with
his own permanent loving home. Charlie needs an inside only home and
would do very well with other cats that are energetic and want to play.
He is looking for his special person to adopt him! Charlie was born
in March 2003.

Angel
This little lady is Angel. She's a little camera shy, so her picture does not do her justice! She is a chocolate point Siamese, and very beautiful. Angel is very gentle and affectionate. She needs to be in a quiet, gentle home with no small children, no dogs, and only mild mannered cats.
Angel is a wonderful companion and is very sweet.
Angel was given up twice: first because her home had dogs she was afraid of, and second because her purrson had to retire into a health care facility and could not take Angel with her (both were heartbroken).
Angel is up to date with routine shots, house trained, altered, felv/fiv negative and is an inside only cat. Buster Brown
This pretty male orange tabby with splashes of white
is a real charmer. He’s a total love bug who enjoys snuggling
on your lap/being held and is a real purring machine. Buster was rescued
'hanging out' with the feral crowd, but easily converted back to being
a lap cat! Despite his hard life on the streets, he’s very friendly/affectionate
and loves attention/petting. From the hard life he currently has 'weepy'
eyes which are improving every day. This sweet little guy is very
playful and gets along well with other cats. He is indoor only. DOB:
2/2003, felv/fiv negative and current on vaccinations.

Munique
I OFTEN GET OVERLOOKED BUT I’M REALLY
A SWEETIE
Munique has litter-ally spent most of her life in the Sanctuary. She
was born in July 2002 and is a spayed female DSH brown/ grey/gold, Tortie/
Tabby. She is a quiet, sweet girl who gets along with everyone and is
waiting for that purrrrfect family to call her own. Before she came

in healthy condition and it doesn’t detract from my beauty. I’m
a pleasant girl and I do like some attention although I won’t
overwhelm you. I’d really love to share your home. Her vaccinations
are current; combo tested for FIV and FELV and is negative, wormed and

haven here until I can find my new family. I will make a wonderful
pet and lifelong friend, you'll see! Will you be my new family? I'll

Hannah Bell
IF YOU LIKE LADIES I’M YOUR GAL!
On the outside, Hannah Bell is very ladylike. She keeps herself impeccably
clean, and lets you know when she wants attention. But this girl also
has a wild streak, and when she thinks no one is looking she loves
to hunt imaginary mice, dart all over the room, and show her stuffed
toys who is boss. She is also feisty with the other cats so she would
like a home with no more then one or two more cats. Hannah Bell needs
a quiet and gentle family, with no young children, who will be unhappy
with her slightly rambunctious side. She was born around September
2004, has been spayed, and her vaccinations and rabies shots are current.
